One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Ken Kesey
Chief Bromden or "Chief Broom" to the black boys at the Combine Mental Ward, has been committed for longer than any other patient that enters the ward. His world revolves around a schedule nothing out of the ordinary, receiving his medication cleaning and eating. But that all changes when a new patient enters the ward. His name is Randle Patrick McMurphy, a fun loving, fighting Irishman; and he is focused on turning the whole ward upside down starting with the head nurse a large tyrannical woman name Mrs. Ratched.
This was a very good book, I enjoyed reading it and getting to know the narrator. The book is in first person so it can be hard to follow at times. It can get confusing, but it is defiantly a book worth sticking to with a great ending. I would recommend this book to the older readers as this book is really not for kids.
